Two fantastic safari camps in Africa

In Africa there are many destinations where one can choose to go on safari.  However, Zimbabwe is one of the best places for guests to experience the best of true Africa.  Zimbabwe, just like South Africa is home to Africa's big five animals (the black/white rhino, the African lion, the African elephant, the leopard and the Cape buffalo).  Despite these famous animals, the nation is also home to other abundant species and diverse bird life. This article shall briefly describe two fantastic safari camps in Zimbabwe: the Hide Safari Camp and Zambezi Life Styles Camp.

As a member of the prestigious "Classic Safari Camps of Africa", The Hide Safari Camps team of professional and friendly staff are dedicated to uphold the finest safari experience that they have offered for over a decade.  Since The Hide Safari Camp was sited in one of Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe's prime wildlife areas nearly twenty years ago, they have distilled the essence of the safari experience and embellished it with our own distinctive style. Hwange was once the royal hunting ground of Ndebele kings and has long been known for its abundant and diverse wildlife.  In particular, the park is known for herds of elephant and buffalo numbering in the hundreds. This is one of the best places to see lion, leopard and African wild dog among the hundred or so other mammal and four hundred bird species.  Between game drives and walks in the National Park, there is plenty of time to relax in a comfortable lounge or sit quietly in a hide to watch the wildlife.  After meals all together around a giant table or al fresco under the Acacia trees, you can spend a lazy afternoon by the plunge pool or in the shade of your verandah.

The second amazing safari camp is Zambezi Life Styles which offers one of the best ways to experience Mana Pools on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The legendary Mana Pools is known for its wildlife rich flood plains and magnificent views of the Zambezi River, with the Zambezi Escarpment in Zambia as a dramatic backdrop to the scenery.  The 10-bed luxury mobile camp is set up prior to your arrival. Comprising of 4 twin bedded mini-meru style tents with en-suite bathroom facilities including flush toilets and al fresco bucket showers, the camp gives luxury camping a new definition by virtue of its simple yet elegant and comfortable furnishings.  Activities here include game drives, walking safaris, canoeing safaris, fishing and bird watching.

In conclusion, the two safari camps described above are excellent destinations that guests should consider visiting.  They epitomize true Africa. They are the perfect blend of the best of African wildlife and beautiful scenery. Guests would surely enjoy their stay in this part of the planet. Safari packages are available that take you to these places.
