Two amazing places to stay at on safari in Botswana

The most popular place that tourists usually visit when on safari in Botswana is the Okavango delta.  However there are other beautiful places that are home to abundant wildlife such as the Chobe National Park and the Nata sanctuary.  This article shall describe the wonderful safari camps found in these two places

The first places is the Chobe Safari camp.   Chobe National Park is located on Botswana's far northern border lie the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe River systems that form a mosaic of lakes, islands, channels and floodplains. Part of this system is the Chobe National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephant and buffalo.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on our doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.

The camps close proximity to Victoria Falls International Airport, Livingstone International Airport and Kasane International Airport makes us easily accessible, with daily road transfers or charter flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge. The lodge has been recently renovated; matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.

The second place is Nata lodge.  The Nata sanctuary consists of  the Nata River delta, that feeds the Sua Pan in the Nata sanctuary and forms the breeding ground for a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingo in their thousands, transforming the shore line into a pink haze blending into the western sky. Nata Lodge offers guided tours in open safari vehicles into the sanctuary, not to be missed.

An oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance to the Nata Sanctuary and is just off the main road, 10 km from Nata village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas.

Nata Lodge offers 22 Luxury thatched chalets built on stilts and set in rustic African style, with bathroom en-suite including indoor bath and outdoor shower and now boats air-conditioning. 10 custom designed meru tents set on wooden decks with en suite bathroom and outdoor showers.

The campsite surroundings offer peace and tranquility with backdrop being that of the Botswana night sky.  The lodge's campsite is able to accommodate 150 pax and the ablution area's are stylish with semi open showers offering hot and cold water for that true African feeling.  The campsite has central electrical power banks for those requiring electricity. Socket is standard RSA 3 pin round plug 240v.

In conclusion, these two safari camps in Botswana are great places to visit on holiday.  Guests would enjoy safari packages to this part of the world.  These lodges offer the best of a Botswana safari experience.
