Where to go in Dubai for Leisure

With the added splendor of seven-star property, the world's tallest tower, manmade islands, underwater hotels and buildings that spin like a Weeble you can see it all in Dubai. You ask any passerby as to where to go in Dubai and the first answer you get will be the Burj Khalifa. The world's tallest tower and is an amazing feat of engineering- the story of which you can see if you take a trip to "At The Top"- the highest viewing platform in the world. There are other attractions like the Dubai fountain, the Dubai museum, the Grand Mosque, the Dubai Creek and The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding.

One of the beautiful places to visit outside Dubai would be Sharjah, as it has proven its ability to maintain strong economic performance, especially in the hotel industry that continues to grow stronger as opposed to other emirates. According to SCTDA the number of Sharjah hotels grew 8 per cent in the first quarter of this year to 503,985, up from 466,218 in the same period last year. One of the major reasons being it's a very cost friendly. Even before the end of 2013, (SCTDA) recorded an impressive 10 per cent increase in tourist arrivals. The Sharjah Lights Festival and Sharjah Water Festival are some of the tourist attractions that are sure to pull in more crowds in the coming years.

Another destination is Fujairah, as its one of the seven emirates that makes up the United Arab Emirates, and the only one of the seven that has a coastline solely on the Gulf of Oman and none on the Persian Gulf. Colonial design that blends local architecture with a graceful palazzo-style estate, in a setting of spectacular rolling hills, and glittering sculpture lakes, that's the description worthy of Fujairah hotels. They often draw attention to their old world charm with modern structure and interiors that give all modern day creature comforts. While Fujairah is the destination of choice for tourists wanting to escape the cities, a flurry of hotel openings in recent years has turned it into a breeding ground for the hospitality industry.

Tourism authority in Fujairah have been good at attracting visitors from within the UAE with growing international tourism and more focus on travel in and around Fujairah. With a pleasant weather and excellent outdoor conditions, Fujairah hotels offer a great variety to travelers. While it's a must visit destination for newly-weds, it's also grown open to international business conferences and meetings. Since tourism is so prevalent in the UAE, the hospitality industry is growing at a massive rate.
